High Temperature Air Filtration
3
What is hot gas filtration?
Hot gas emissions are produced by a wide range of processes, containing impurities or products
which may be dangerous, toxic and polluting. They must not be allowed to escape to atmosphere
without being filtered. Industrial waste gases often reach temperatures over 400°C.
Particulate matter is often sub-micron and will pass through conventional filters. Furthermore,
high temperatures will cause bag-type filters to fail in a short time. A different filtration principle
is needed for this type of application, that of ceramic filtration.
At
glosfume
®
we have been producing ceramic hot gas filtration units for over 25 years and have
carried out more than 1000 installations all over the world, from Argentina to Russia and Iceland
to Australia you will find a
